I love pesto pizza bread! Most people don't know this but as a teen I helped out around a Mom and Pop Take and Bake Pizza/Italian Restaurant. It was here I first found out about delicious pesto french bread pizza. I loved how it tasted but when I added sun dried tomatoes it was outstanding. I never could convince the owners to add sun dried tomatoes to there french bread pizzas but maybe I can convince you!

Ingredients:
1/2 cup pesto
1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes (diced) (check out my sun dried tomato pesto (sauces/toppings)
1 1/3 cup your favorite cheese (mozzarella and pepper jack both work well)
3-4 hard salami slices (chopped or your favorite sliced meat or vegetable)
4 slices of french bread (pictured above is sourdough)

Spread 1-2 tbsp of pesto onto each slice of bread. sprinkle with 1 tbsp of sun-dried tomatoes, then sprinkle with 1/4 of cheese and finally spread salami (or your favorite topping) over french bread.

Place pesto pizzas on an oven safe dish and bake at 350 degrees 5-10 minutes till bread is toasted and cheese is melted. Serve warm as a side dish or alone as a tasty lunch.
