We were at a charity Garden Party and they had some Truffle Honey to drizzle over different cheeses. I drizzled some over some Brie and was blown away by how great it tasted. I knew I wanted to use these flavors from something but first I had to figure out if I could make my own truffle honey. I mixed white truffle oil and honey until I found the flavor I wanted and tested it on this bread. I have another idea for some grilled chicken that I will be using it on soon!

Ingredients:
Bread
2 1/2-3/4 inch wide slices Sweet French bread
2-3 tbsp Triple Cream Brie (at room temperature)
1-2 tsp truffle honey
Fresh Crack Medley Pepper (optional)

Truffle Honey (if you need to make it)
3/4 tsp White Truffle Oil
2 tbsp pure Clover Honey

In a small bowl mix together truffle oil and honey.

Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

Warm bread for 1-2 minutes or until bread is warm but not toasted. Remove bread from oven and spread brie evenly onto bread slices. Drizzle 1/4-1/2 tsp of Truffle Honey over each slice of bread and serve immediately while bread is still warm. (A light dusting of fresh crack pepper can also be good over this bread.)
