It was really hard to rate these burgers! They were really tasty, kind of like a delicious kung-fu kick to the taste-buds but they just were not as good as the Garden Gobbler or the Black bean burger. I almost feel bad saying they are a GR because they were better than that! If you like pork, you like Asian food and you like burgers than give these a try because they are really are amazing, just not as amazing as my two previous burgers this summer.

Ingredients:
Burger patties
1 1/4 lb ground pork
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tbsp fresh ginger
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 1/2 tsp srircha sauce
1 tbsp 1/4 tsp fresh mint (diced)

Misc
3-4 tbsp Pan-Asian BBQ Sauce
4 sesame seed hamburger buns 1/2 cup Jalapeno Havarti (sliced) 50/50 spring mix/spinach salad (optional) Asian Mayonnaise 2 tbsp mayonnaise 1 tsp soy sauce 1/2-1 tsp Chinese hot mustard 1/4 tsp 5 spice seasoning

Asian Mayonnaise
Whisk all ingredients together and chill until ready to use.

Burgers
In a large mixing bowl mix together all patty ingredients by hand until even. Split mixture into 4 even amounts and roll into balls. Form balls into four patties and sit on plate until grill is heated.

Preheat grill to medium heat.

Place patties on middle grill and cook for 4-5 minutes. Flip patties with a metal spatula and cook for another 4-5 minutes. Flip patties, lay 1/4 of Havarti slices over each patty and let cook for 1-2 more minutes or until cheese is fully melted. (While the cheese is melting place buns on top grill rack and toasted for 2 minutes.)

Remove patties and buns from grill. Spread 2 tsp of BBQ sauce on bottom bun, place your patties, spread 1-2 tsp of Asian Mayonnaise on top bun (add spring mix if using) and serve hot! Enjoy!
