Zo really enjoyed these quick appetizers, so much so that she wanted me to give them a VGR. I thought they were too easy to make... I mean all I did was wrap some fig in Prosciutto, just because of this I wanted to give them a VG. So I decided to meet her in the middle with a GR. They really are tasty and go great with any light main course such as a salad or salmon. Enjoy!
3 Italian Honey figs (Sliced in half)
3 Black Madeira figs (Sliced in half)
6 Picante Prosciutto slices (cut down the middle long ways)
Wrap each fig in one of the half slices of prosciutto. (Now you are done if you want to be but you can also grill, bake or pan sear the wrapped figs for 2-3 minutes if you would like. Either way they are tasty!)
