Maybe something is wrong with my tastebuds, I hated this burgers, I mean I outright could not stand to eat them, but the other four people at dinner loved them and all night they kept telling me how great they were.  They told me all the flavors came together amazingly well.  To me it just tasted blah. The odd thing is I made burgers like this a few years back and I loved them...  They just tasted too dry to me.  As if I added too many seasonings but as you can see I used more fresh ingrdients than dry. Maybe it is because I ate about a 1/4 of a watermelon before bitting into the burger.  Anything would taste dry after that. I hope you love my Chipotle Honey Lime Turkey Burgers as much as everone else did, me I am going to have to give my tastebuds a rest and try them again later!

Ingredients:
Turkey Burgers
1.25 lbs ground turkey
1 egg
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1/3 cup red onion (chopped)
1 tbsp fresh chives (diced)
2 tbsp fresh shallots (diced)
2 tbsp fresh cilantro (diced)
1/4 cup garlic crutons (crushed)
1 tsp lime zest
1 tsp lime juice
2 tsp honey
1/2 tsp cumin
1 tsp olive oil
2 tsp Rice Vinegar
1 tsp Soy Sauce
1/8 tsp dry Mustard
1/8 tsp smoked paparika
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1/4 tsp ground chipotle pepper
fresh crack pepper (to taste)
kosher salt (to taste)

Sauce
1/3 cup mayo
1/2 of a limes juice
1/8 tsp ground chipotle
1 shallot (diced)
2 tbsp fresh chives (diced)
pinch of cumin
fresh crack pepper

Toppings
Regular mustard
1/2 cup wasabi arugala
4 chipotle cheddar or aged sharp cheddar cheese slices
4 potato buns

Sauce
In a small bowl whisk together all ingredients until smooth. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

Burgers
In a medium mixing bowl mix together all burger ingredients until even. Separate mixture into four even amounts and form four hamburger patties.

Heat grill to medium high. Once heated place patties garlic side up on medium grill and cook for 7-8 minutes. Flip patties and grill for another 7-8 minutes or until burgers are cooked through.

(The last two minutes of cooking add buns to top grill and toast. The last minute of grilling add cheese to burgers, if not fully melted don't worry, when you remove the burgers from the grill the cheese will continue to melt.)

Spread 2 tsp of sauce and mustard on buns, add patty and then top with wasabi arugula. Serve hot and enjoy!
