We have this light salad when we are having seafoods or other lightly flavored main courses. It has a fresh spring time flavor, it is easy to throw together and brings a bright and colorful look to the table.

Ingredients:
1 red pear (sliced)
Bleu cheese (for crumbling)
2-3 handfuls of your favorite garden salad mix
walnuts, pecans, hazelnuts (or your favorite nut can also be added for flavor)

Toss pear slices and garden salad mix together in mixing bowl. Arrange on plate and then crumble your desired amount of bleu cheese over salad (if you are using nuts sprinkle them over the salad as well at this time.)

Drizzle a little Balsamic Vinaigrette (check topping/sauce label for our homemade version) over salad and serve.
