Looking for an artichoke dip that every bite will leave your taste buds tingling? Then look no further. I got this idea actually because Zo and I like our friend's Spinach and Artichoke dip so much. Zo inquired as to what they put into it and we decided it was the green chillies that really sparked our taste buds. I built upon that and really went crazy with the pepper flavors. When I make this again I think I will actually use two minced garlic cloves rather than the garlic powder. I hope you enjoy!

Ingredients
1 10 oz package frozen chopped spinach (thawed, drained and chopped)
2 13 3/4 oz cans artichoke hearts (chopped)
1 jalapeno (seeded, veined and diced)
1 4 oz can green chills
3/4 cup grated Habanero jack (grated)
1/3 cup cream cheese (whipped)
1/2 cup Romano (grated)
1/2 cup Parmesan (grated)
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
fresh crack pepper (to taste)

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.

Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Pour into a lightly buttered 8x8 baking dish. and bake for 20-25 minutes or until sides and top are beginning to crisp and brown.

Serve warm with warm fresh cut pieces of sourdough, french bread and Italian bread loafs.

  3. This one is pretty darn good, make sure you use garlic cloves and not garlic powder (or maybe both.) I think it will be even better that way! Oh or rasted garlic would be really good too!

  4. this looks just delicious - we have a local bar that makes incredible artichoke dip that i've been dying to mimic!
